Cruise with some of Baseball’s Greatest Players

By Bob | February 22nd, 2007

graig_nettles5.jpgThe first sign of spring for many of us in the United States is when we heat the crack of a baseball bat hitting a ball. There is something optimistic about the start of baseball’s spring training. The teams train in the sunny weather of Florida and Arizona, winter snowbird fans flock to see the players hit, catch and tug at their crotches, and every team holds out hope that this will be their year for World Series glory.

The one thing that sets baseball apart from the other major sports in the United States, other than the crotch tugging, that is, is the place in history it holds in society. Young kids growing up today have heard of the great players like Babe Ruth and Ted Williams even if they never had the chance to see them play in person or on television. It is the old time players who have become the legends in our minds and in our hearts.

Here is your chance to hang out with some of the baseball’s greats on a cruise through the Caribbean.
