Less touristed than its American counterparts, the BVI offers some welcome seclusion. Virgin Gorda is only eight square miles, which means most of the island is within a few hours walk. The seldom-driven roads should not be overlooked, however, for they can provide enjoyable walks, going past sparsely populated hamlets and out to such pleasant points as Little Dix Bay, Gun Creek, and Pond Bay.
