A few years ago, we were getting car insurance for our new car when the agent asked us if we wanted to add another insurance package. No, we said, we didn’t want to spend the extra money. In the end, we added on renter’s insurance…and it cost us $10 a year LESS to have both insurance policies, instead of just one.
