Mirrors on the ceiling and pink champagne on ice are not for everyone. I personally prefer mirrors on the floor and pink lemonade. There are, of course, more hotels in Los Angeles than just the Hotel California. The city and, in fact, all of Southern California has some excellent places to lay your head at night when you aren’t busy trying to make it big on the big screen.
Los Angeles area hotels are plentiful and as with most things involved with the city they range from truly memorable to truly awful. It pays to do some research ahead of time. It also pays to book your reservation online. The fine folks at Priceline have a deal where you can name your own price on an LA hotel room. I tried naming a negative price since I think some hotels should pay me to stay there, but that didn’t work. But I was able to find some pretty nifty deals including prices that are up to half off what they are normally listed for.
Just be forewarned that the pink champagne will likely cost you more once you are there and that mirrors on the ceiling can lead to some very strange nightmares if not used properly.
