Kids Stay Free at Dominican Republic Resort

By Bob | May 14th, 2007

dr.jpgThe Dominican Republic is hot, both literally and figuratively. The summer temperatures are steamy and the island’s popularity is even hotter. The Caribbean island is quickly becoming a favorite destination of the jet set crowd (how does one apply to be a member of the jet set?) and it is also becoming a favorite destination for families looking for affordable vacations in paradise.

With its white sandy beaches, crystal clear blue waters, and verdant landscape, the Dominican Republic is a beautiful country. It also has some excellent resorts that won’t break your bank. The Allegro Playa Dorada is one of those resorts. Located amongst the lush gardens and tropical palm trees of Playa Dorada, the resort is an eight iron away from a Robert Trent Jones (the guy who designed the course used for The Masters) designed golf course. It also offers sailing, windsurfing, snorkeling, tennis and good old fashioned lounging around doing nothing opportunities.

Cheap Caribbean has some outstanding deals on vacation packages in Dominican Republic, including one where kids can stay free at Allegro Playa Dorado. These packages include flights, accommodations and meals for around $700 for 5 nights. You can’t beat that even if you are a card carrying member of the jet set.
