Explore Paris with a Guided Tour

By Bob | February 27th, 2007

paris-tour.jpgIf all the trees that have been felled in order for people to write about the beauty of Paris were still around I am convinced that we wouldn’t have global climate change. I am also convinced that people would still know about the beauty of Paris. All you have to do is go there once and you will discover her charms for yourself.

Deciding what to see and what to do while you are in the City of Lights can be a challenge. Even with the best guidebooks and an understanding of French, it is not an easy city to navigate. That is why joining a tour can make a lot of sense.

How much time and money you want to invest in a tour of Paris is up to you, of course. How I usually like to do things is to take a quick tour that hits all the major spots. This helps to give me the lay of the land so that I can go back and spend some quality time at the places I really want to see without spending all my time lost and having confused Parisians looking at me like I am speaking Klingon instead of their beautiful language.

For more insight on all things Paris, check out the Paris Logue, which is written by an insider living in the city that everyone loves.
