Keep Track of Your Favorite Cruise Ship’s Location

By Bob | December 14th, 2006

Here is a pretty cool site for people who are attached to a particular cruise ship. CruiseCal.com offers up a fairly in-depth calendar that lists the various locations of many, many cruise ships. While you are stuck at home in Cleveland, for example, you can dream about being aboard P&O Cruise’s Aurora, which is currently floating around the Mediterranean. This is also a great way for family and friends to keep track of your location while you are cruising around without a care in the world.

Another neat feature of the site is its section with Webcams. I know, Webcams are so 2001 but they can still be cool, especially when they show your favorite cruise ship at sea and when they show a lot of the ports around the world. Again, this is great way to share your cruise experience with those who you choose to keep at home while you are off having fun.

Finally, I would be remiss if I did not mention that you can take a virtual cruise without even leaving the comfort of your own home. As the site says: “So, put on some Jimmy Buffet, grab a drink, put an umbrella in it, and cruise vicariously thru this page.” Sounds good to me. Boy does this drink taste especially good today.
