St. Barts, Saint Barthelemy – Vacation Packages

By Miss Julie | December 22nd, 2006

From its postcard harbor to its twenty spectacular beaches, many travelers consider this beautiful little island to be the closest thing to heaven on earth. Formerly called Saint Barthelemy, rolling hills, picturesque villages and broad valleys are surrounded by coral reefs, gin-clear waters and blue-green lagoons make St. Barts a favorite retreat for the rich and famous. It is renowned for its natural beauty, delicious cuisine, chic boutiques and relaxed ambiance.

St. Barts may be small, but its chic French atmosphere makes larger islands pale in comparison. Sail a catamaran to Rockefeller Beach for swimming. Stroll the town of Gustavia with its charming French and Swedish architecture, not to mention world-class dining and shopping. Sail along the coastline or even hop a yacht to tour another island. Extensive trails are also available for hiking on this tiny island.
