New York City – Vacation Packages

New York. The Big Apple. The City That Never Sleeps. Home of the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, the Village, Broadway. New Yorkers proudly call their hometown the center of the universe. Every possible language, nationality and subculture exists here. New York is a sightseer’s dream with iconic symbols like the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Times Square and Central Park, just to name a few. There are Broadway’s polished shows to see, innovative and fresh offerings Off-Broadway and a plethora of music venues to enjoy. Add more then one city’s share of world class museums and a traveler could spend weeks here and not see it all.

There are the 5 boroughs – Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. Wander Central Park, have a coffee in Greenwich Village. You don’t even need to pack much, as there are hundreds of the finest stores in the world, from the Gap to Macy’s. Ride in the famous yellow cabs to catch a Broadway show. Whatever your favorite vacation activities, you will not be disappointed: museum goers, fine diners, people watchers, sight-seers…this is the place.

Descend into the smoky depths of a no-cover jazz club, retrace the steps of your favorite Seinfeld episode, enjoy lo mein in Chinatown. Away from the flash and glamour of the tourist draws, nestled in the cities many neighborhoods there’s a whole lot more NYC has to offer. Find a restaurant or bar the locals go to, buy a cup of coffee from a street vendor, say a pleasant “Good morning” to the guy working the news stand and you’ll catch a glimpse of the real NY, a surprising friendly place. New Yorkers may be loud, opinionated and boisterous but a pretty amicable bunch who are happy to point wayward tourists in the right direction. This is New York – city of the world, and on your vacation, it will be all yours.
