Montego Bay, Jamaica – Vacation Packages

By Miss Julie | December 24th, 2006

Nothing is a problem on this island paradise where reggae, romance and the Caribbean sun come together. Jamaica’s proximity to the United States, its laid back nature, claims to Bob Marley and PLENTY of resorts make it a top tourist destination. At 4,411 square miles, it is the third largest island in the Caribbean after Cuba and Puerto Rico. Geographically, it is a cornucopia of scenic wonders. Miles of soft sand beaches and lush greenery line the coasts, and high mountains loom inland. Overall, the terrain is very mountainous, with half of the land rising above 1,000 ft. The highest point, Blue Mountain Peak, soars to 7,402 ft – higher than any in the eastern half of North America.

Land in the bustling tourist center of Montego Bay and discover a variety of great beaches, attractions and shops. You can also choose a resort in the surrounding area for quick access to the city while enjoying your getaway. Take a trip on a chartered catamaran, or a guided tour around the natural splendors. Ample fishing opportunities are available, as well as ATV tours. The largest reggae festival also finds its home in Montego Bay and will rid you of all your worries, should you attend.
