Here’s another example of that whole bundling thing we were talking about earlier. Orbitz has done a study that shows, on average, people who book their flight and hotels together save around $200!

Now, we don’t know about you, but we can always use that $200 for something more important, like shopping, or a really good meal, or to even start planning our next trip!

You might also be asking yourself, what’s the catch? How do these guys make money, if they’re offering me a great deal like that? Well, it’s simple - by getting you to book your flight and hotel room together, travel websites are getting business they might not otherwise have had. For example, if you had gone to the hotel website directly after you booked, or a similar competitor. It’s better for them to make a little money, than no money at all.
