Spring Savings: Travel to Europe and Save Money on Hotels
The spring season is usually an excellent time to travel to Europe and this year it is proving to be no exception. In addition to not having to deal with the summer crowds that can make even the nicest place not so nice, traveling in the spring offers travelers and opportunity to save money on flights and accommodations.
Case in point is a deal being offered by British Airways for flights before May 27, 2007. If you book one of their reasonably priced flights to London and other destinations around the world you will receive a $50 credit to use towards hotel accommodations, car hires, transfers or sightseeing attractions in the city of your choice.
Considering how poorly the dollar is doing against the Pound and the Euro, every bit of dough you can save up front counts. If you book online with British Airways you’ll even save an extra $20. Sure you’ll miss out on the opportunity to listen to elevator music while you wait for a telephone operator to assist you, but if that is something you like in life you might be better off staying at home anyway, or at least better of helping me to deal with the telephone company that overcharged me for last month’s bill but has no live humans who can do anything about it.
