Free Night at a Hawaiian Hotel
For a place that has been called paradise on more than one occasion, Hawaii sure goes to a lot of effort to attract tourists. You would think that the incredible beaches, warm waters, stunning mountains and world-class resorts would do enough to sell the state on its own, but apparently people need even more of an incentive to visit.
Every week I seemingly come across deals on Hawaiian vacations. I have come to the conclusion that the only excuse you should ever have for paying full price for a trip to Hawaii is if you are under a tree and a pineapple conks you on the head, rendering you incapable of making rational decisions. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen. I hate to see a good pineapple go to waste.
This week’s Hawaiian special is a free night’s stay at one of a number of hotels if you book a vacation package through Orbitz. While it may be paradise, Hawaii is by no means cheap so any money you can save on accommodations can be used for those other travel expenses like eating, drinking and buying a shirt that says “Someone went to Hawaii and all I got was this lousy t-shirt”.
