In Harriman’s Wake: A 24-night epic Alaska Cruise
Edward Henry Harriman organized an epic journey to Alaska in 1899 as part of a scientific effort to explore Alaska’s waterways and wilderness. That adventure led to many new discoveries and has become part of explorer folklore. You can re-live this historical journey aboard Cruise West’s Spirit of Oceanus. The 24-night cruise starts in Vancouver and ends in Anchorage. Along the way you will see some of the most spectacular scenery around and learn a lot of natural history in the process. The cruise isn’t cheap, but it could be a once in a lifetime adventure.
