Cruise the Mexican Riviera

By Bob | January 18th, 2007

loscabos.jpgThe Pacific Ocean side of Mexico and Baja, California has evolved into a wonderful vacation playground. With endless days of warm sunshine, crystal clear ocean waters, pristine beaches and an infrastructure in place to accommodate visitors from around the world, the Mexican Riviera, as some call it, is an affordable option for those looking to escape for a few days or even a few weeks.

Carnival Cruise Lines traverses the waters around the Mexican Riviera like no one else. They have a ton of different ships and routes to choose from and as is usually the case with Carnival the prices are hard to beat. One particularly interesting journey is a 7-night voyage on the Carnival Pride.

Departing from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, the ship soon heads for Puerto Vallarta, an idyllic beach resort town where the mountains come down to the seas. From there you will be whisked away to Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas before returning home to Los Angeles with a tan on your skin and a relaxed look on your face.

You can usually find a goof deal on Mexican Riviera cruises all year long, but this time of year there seems to be especially tasty deals on the table.
