4-Night Bahamas Cruise from Orlando (Kind of)

Having grown up in the shadows of the Magic Kingdom, I can safely say that Orland, Florida is not, in fact, located on the ocean nor is it a port city for cruise ships. That isn’t stopping the kids at Southwest Airlines and Carnival Cruises, however. They are advertising a 4-night cruise to the Bahamas leaving from Port Canaveral, which is, in fact, a little more than an hour’s drive from Orlando depending on how many armadillos you encounter along the way.

The cruise itself looks nice and standard, just beware that you might need to find a way to get from Orlando to Port Canaveral and vice versa. Walking really isn’t an option. Those armadillos can be mighty nasty sometimes.
