Ixtapa/Zihuatenejo, Mexico – Vacation Packages

In the Nahuatl “Cihuatlán”, Zihuatenejo means “the place of women” because it was a matriarchal society. This small bay and resort was discovered by the tourist trail in 1940. At the time, the only access to the village was by the sea. Dance all night along the waterfront after spending your day trying your…arms…at hangliding, or your hand at deep sea fishing. A photo stop at Playa Quieta (Calm Beach), where you will be able to view the magnificent island of Ixtapa, is a must.
