Disneyland, California – Vacation Packages

By Miss Julie | December 24th, 2006

Located an hour southeast of Los Angeles, Anaheim is Orange County’s largest city. It’s also California’s most exciting family hotspot with lots of amusement parks, attractions, restaurants and fabulous resorts that guarantee fun for the kid in all of us!

Anaheim’s best known attraction is Disneyland, the “happiest place on Earth!”. This is where Walt Disney’s theme park dreams took root, and you’ll find plenty of that famous Disney magic on rides like “It’s a Small World”, “Star Tours” and “Space Mountain.” This year, join the ‘happiest celebration on earth’ as it celebrates its 50th anniversary.

Of course, all your favorite characters are also on hand to greet you. Other area attractions that pack in the thrills include Knott’s Berry Farm, the country’s oldest theme amusement park; the Movieland Wax Museum, where you can come face to face with your favorite stars; and Ripley’s Believe-It-Or-Not, a museum showcasing the strange but true. There are also theme restaurants, like Medieval Times and Wild Bill’s Wild West Dinner Extravaganza, that take dining to a whole new level of adventure.

Disney’s California Adventure is the new 55-acre park which features thrilling attractions and state-of-the-art technology, including a Superstar Limo ride past the mansions of Beverly Hills and the shops of Rodeo Drive, an Animation Pavilion, a white water rafting ride, and a high speed roller coaster with a 360 degree loop.

Don’t be fooled – Disneyland isn’t just for kids. There’s plenty of after hours drinking, dancing and nightlife for adults, too.
